Entrepreneur from Surkhandarya donates apartments to 40 low-income families
Fully equipped apartments were presented to homeless women who lost their breadwinners.
In the Tarokli mahalla of Sherabad district, Surkhandarya region, 2 multi-storey residential buildings with fully furnished 40 apartments were put into operation on the eve of the Ramadan Eid holiday and donated to women who do not have their private houses and who have lost their breadwinners, the regional administration reported.
It is noted that the houses were built by an entrepreneur from Sherabad and presented free of charge. His name is not mentioned in the report. According to UzA, the businessman asked not to be recognized.
There are two- and three-room apartments in two high-rise buildings, each of them is fully equipped in a modern way, with all the necessary amenities.
The governor of Surkhandarya region Ulugbek Kosimov took part in the ceremony of handing over the keys to the apartment owners.
Reportedly, the generous businessman also built and donated cottages to 27 low-income families in the district last year.
