The projects are expected to give further impetus to economic ties between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan by turning bilateral cooperation into concrete business initiatives. The two countries have strengthened their strategic partnership and alliance in recent years, with trade, investment and industrial cooperation gaining momentum.
The projects launched during the ceremony cover a range of sectors, including banking, construction materials, education, fuel station infrastructure, tourism and residential development, mineral raw material processing and horticulture.
Representatives involved in the projects joined the ceremony online from project sites in different parts of the countries and briefed the presidents on the progress of work.
The new initiatives are intended to deepen cooperation between businesses in Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, increase cross-border investment and expand employment opportunities. They are also expected to add practical substance to the economic partnership between the two countries.
