Number of labor migrants from Uzbekistan sharply increases in Russia
The number of Uzbek citizens who come to work in Russia has quadrupled in seven years.

This was announced on Friday by the Minister of Economic Development of Russia Maxim Reshetnikov.
“Over the past seven years, the number of Uzbek citizens who come to work in Russia has quadrupled,” he said at an international investment forum in Tashkent.
Reshetnikov added that 700 companies with Russian capital were opened in Uzbekistan last year.
“We really appreciate that there are 3,000 companies with Russian capital operating in Uzbekistan, and these companies are doing great,” he said.
