President signs decree to reduce current tariffs for flights from Tashkent to Samarkand, Bukhara and other cities
In order to develop tourism potential, the president signed a decree to reduce airfare prices, as well as to establish flights between the cities of Uzbekistan.

A presidential decree "On additional measures to accelerate the development of the tourism potential of Uzbekistan and to further increase the number of local and foreign tourists" has been adopted.
According to the document, the Ministry of Transport, together with Uzbekistan Airports JSC, has been instructed to organize flights from Tashkent to Nukus, Urgench, Bukhara, Karshi and Samarkand at a price up to two times cheaper than the current ones.
It was also instructed to establish regular flights from Fergana, Namangan and Andijan to Bukhara, Samarkand, Termez and Urgench, as well as on such routes as Termez - Nukus, Samarkand - Urgench, Bukhara - Urgench, Fergana - Urgench.
In addition, the document provides for the lifting of restrictions on flights and air communications for foreign airlines and the application of the “Fifth Freedom of the Air” within the framework of the introduced “Open Skies” regime at Samarkand International Airport.
