President of Singapore to visit Uzbekistan

“A solemn ceremony of an official welcome will be held at the Kuksaroy Palace of Uzbekistan, and she will meet with President Mirziyoyev, who will host a state luncheon in honor of President Halimah,” the Foreign Ministry of Singapore said in a statement.

She will also visit the Uzbekistan-Singapore business forum and the Academy of Public Administration. It is expected that Halimah Yacob will make a trip to Samarkand and meet with the governor of the region.

It should be recalled that on January 17 this year, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited Singapore at the invitation of the host country’s President. Mirziyoyev held talks with Halimah Yacob and PM Lee Hsien Loong.

The parties discussed strengthening bilateral relations in all areas of cooperation.
