Senate to convene for next plenary session on June 1

According to the parliamentary press service, the meeting adopted a resolution to convene the forty-first plenary session of the Senate on June 1 this year.
During the plenary session, senators will discuss and consider the following laws:
- “On conflict of interest”;
- “On amendments and additions to some legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan aimed at reducing informal employment”;
- “On amendments to some legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan aimed at improving the investment and business environment in the Republic of Karakalpakstan”;
- “On the introduction of amendments and additions to some legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with the improvement of legislation in the areas of ecology and the protection of public order”;
- “On amendments to the Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan on administrative responsibility”.
In addition, the laws “On amendments and additions to the law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On state duty” in connection with the optimization of the size of the state duty for certain types of activities in the field of telecommunications” and “On amendments to Article 483 of the Tax Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan” will be considered.
Along with this, senators will hear a report from the Central Bank on activities in 2022.
