Power supply interruptions observed in Fergana Valley regions due to bad weather
Power outages are observed in some areas of the Fergana Valley, the Ministry of Energy said.
According to reports, power supply interruptions occurred due to strong winds of 24 meters per second.
"In order to ensure safety, some electricity lines in Namangan, Fergana and Andijan regions were temporarily disconnected from the network," the official statement said.
As a result, there are short-term interruptions in the electricity supply to several pumping stations, residential areas and manufacturing enterprises.
It is said that the power supply will be restored after the strong winds in the region subside.
