Explosion occurs in a copper pipe production factory in Tashkent; at least 6 injured
A gas explosion occurred in a copper pipe production factory in the Chilanzar district. Reportedly, at least six people were injured.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, on June 14 at 09:50, in the hangar of the copper pipe production factory located on Astrabod Street in the Chilanzar district, there was a gas explosion.
As a result of the explosion, at least six people received bodily injuries of varying severity. They were hospitalized at the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Care.
Fire and rescue crews, as well as employees of the prosecutor's office, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Guard, the health department and other responsible state bodies, are working at the scene.
At present, the causes of the incident and the amount of damage are being studied.
