Uzbekistan, Pakistan approve an agreement on military cooperation
The following session of the Senate Council was held on June 20 of this year. It was led by Senate Chairperson Tanzila Narbayeva.
At the meeting, a decision was made to convene the forty-second plenary session of the Senate on June 22, 2023. It is planned to discuss a number of laws at this plenary session, which will be held using the videoconference-communication system.
These include the laws "On the anti-corruption examination of regulatory legal documents and their drafts", "On amendments and additions to the law "On state duty", "On amendments and additions to the Administrative Responsibility Code in connection with the improvement of the procedure for determining the amount of administrative fines imposed for non-execution of executive documents" and "On amendments and additions to the law on prevention and treatment of narcotic diseases".
Also, the laws "On amendments and additions to some legal acts in connection with the further improvement of the activity of the Accounts Chamber of Uzbekistan", "On amendments to the law on the radio frequency spectrum", "On ratification of the agreement between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan on the demarcation of the Uzbekistan-Kazakh state border" (Tashkent, December 22, 2022)" and "On ratification of the agreement on military-technical cooperation between the Government of Uzbekistan and the Government of Pakistan (Islamabad, March 3, 2022)" will be discussed.
At the plenary meeting, it is planned to consider the results of the parliamentary inquiry sent to the Agency of Cultural Heritage regarding the preservation of museum objects and collections and measures to ensure their safety.
