SSS: 1,279 drug-related crimes were solved in 2022
Cases of detecting synthetic drugs have become more frequent in the republic.

In 2022, the State Security Service, in cooperation with other law enforcement agencies, uncovered 1,279 drug-related crimes.
917 kg of narcotic drugs, including heroin, opium and others, were seized from illegal circulation.
Illicit circulation of 373 thousand 550 potent medicines was also suppressed.
It is noted that cases of detecting synthetic drugs have become more frequent in the republic.
In particular, in 2022, more than 32 kg of synthetic drugs were seized from illicit trafficking, mainly such as mephedrone, amphetamine, Alpha-PVP and MDMA.
Within the framework of international cooperation, in 2022, together with the FSB of Russia, the State Committee for National Security of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan, 9 active measures and special operations were carried out, 11 drug criminals were detained, and 166.4 kg of narcotic drugs were seized.
