The documents were signed by the Minister of Energy of Uzbekistan, Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov, and the Chairman of the Management Board of Gazprom, Alexei Miller, with the participation of Deputy PM Jamshid Khodjayev. Then it became known that the export of Russian gas to Uzbekistan through the territory of Kazakhstan will begin in the 4th quarter of this year.

Later, Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov said that he could not disclose the cost of gas that Uzbekistan would buy from Russia.
