Vacationers who polluted water and threw garbage in wrong places in Jizzakh imposed a fine of 34 million soums
More than 20 offenders polluted the water at recreation facilities and threw waste in the wrong places.
In the Jizzakh region, vacationers who dumped waste into the water in the Zaamin district were fined, the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change reported.
In addition, citizens polluted water at recreation facilities, threw waste in the wrong places, violated the water protection regime at water intake facilities, and dumped wastewater into water bodies.
In this regard, administrative cases were initiated against 21 persons, provided for:
• Part 1 of Article 72 (Pollution or clogging of water, violation of the water protection regime in watersheds, as well as violation of the requirements for the conditions for the permissibility of wastewater discharge into water bodies);
• Part 4 of Article 65 (Deterioration of agricultural and other lands, pollution with industrial and other waste, chemical and radioactive substances and sewage);
• Article 91-1 (Ejection of solid household and construction waste, as well as discharge of liquid household waste in unspecified places);
• Part 1 of Article 91 (Violation of environmental requirements during the collection, transportation, disposal, neutralization, storage, disposal, processing, sale of industrial, household and other waste) of the Administrative Responsibility Code.
Fines totaling 39,999,000 soums were imposed on the offenders.
In addition, explanatory work was carried out with citizens to prevent such cases, they were also warned of responsibility for any offense that damages the environment.
