Japan ready to attract labor migrants from Uzbekistan
Japan is ready to attract labor migrants from Uzbekistan for agricultural, repair and construction works.
The Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction held meetings with the Japanese companies Global Partner Co Ltd, Reigi Sahou and Muroo.
The companies expressed their readiness to employ Uzbek citizens in such areas as hotel business, patient and elderly care, residential and non-residential building repair, construction, car repair, and agriculture.
Following the negotiations, memorandums of cooperation were signed with the companies in the field of labor migration, and agreements were reached to employ a total of 400 Uzbek citizens in Japan every year.
The representatives of Muroo stated that they are ready to employ students specializing in Japanese language teaching at the last bachelor's level of higher education institutions in Uzbekistan.
In this regard, the Japanese company announced its readiness to organize work on the basis of a tripartite agreement concluded between the Agency for Foreign Labor Migration and the higher education institution. As a result, about 100 citizens of Uzbekistan will be employed in Japan every year.
