Natural gas worth 11 billion soums stolen from 5 CNG filling stations in Tashkent and its region

The Uzenergoinspektsiya under the Ministry of Energy, together with law enforcement agencies and employees of “Khududgaztaminot” JSC, carried out an operative event at CNG filling stations located in the Tashkent region and the city of Tashkent. As a result, a number of violations were identified. 

In particular, there was a partial loss of data controlled by gas metering devices installed in 3 branches of the K.I.K. enterprise located in the Pskent district of Tashkent region due to consumer intervention. That is, due to the periodic disconnection of gas metering devices from the power supply system, real indicators of the volume of consumed natural gas were hidden. As a result, data from the electronic memory of the equipment installed to account for the volume of consumed natural gas was lost. According to estimates, 3 branches illegally used natural gas for 8 billion soums.

At the CNG stations of the enterprise “K.P.” in the Chinaz district of Tashkent region, a one-time control seal installed on the “AutoPilot PRO” electronic meter was deliberately broken, and the meter readings were underestimated by external influence. According to estimates, natural gas worth 1.9 billion soums was illegally used.

External influence on gas accounting was also exerted in the branch of the enterprise “N.Z.F.B”, located in the Sergeli district of Tashkent. According to estimates, natural gas in the amount of 1.3 billion soums was illegally used.

The documents on the revealed violations were transferred to law enforcement agencies in the prescribed manner.
