The draft government decision “On additional measures aimed at increasing the quality of services provided to the population through the widespread introduction of modern information technologies into the process of paying state pensions” was announced.
Reportedly:
• starting from November 1, 2023, the system of pension and allowance payment in cash will be introduced after confirmation that the fingerprint data of citizens on special tablets are compatible by sending an e-request to the Personalization Agency under the Ministry of Justice by mobile cash registers of the “Xalq Banki” JSCB;
• in mountainous and remote areas of the republic, when it is not possible to compare the pensioner’s fingerprints in e-form due to internet speed or other problems, and when paying to another person through a power of attorney issued in the established order, pensions and allowances in cash form are carried out by signing payment records.
The Ministry of Digital Technologies, the Ministry of Justice and the SUE “Cybersecurity Center” in cooperation with the Central Bank will:
• mutually integrate the information systems of the Personalization Agency under the Ministry of Justice and the JSCB “Xalq Banki”;
• provide practical support for the purchase of special tablets with the ability to compare fingerprint electronic data of pensioners and pensioners by the JSCB “Xalq Banki”.
