Packing workshop in Tashkent misappropriated gas equal to monthly consumption of 6,000 households

It was found that natural gas equivalent to 1-month consumption of more than 6,000 households was illegally used in the packaging workshop of agricultural products in the Mirabad district (Tashkent city), the press service of the Ministry of Energy reported.

It is noted that the Uzenergoinspektsiya under the Ministry conducted an operative event in cooperation with the Tashkent city prosecutor's office and "Khududgaz Poytakht" GTF. At the event, it became known that natural gas was illegally used in the packaging workshop of agricultural products owned by A.F., a resident of A. Fitrat street, Oltinkul mahalla of the district.

As a result of the consumer arbitrarily connecting to the gas network without completing the necessary documents for gasification, according to preliminary calculations, the system was damaged in the amount of 824 million 417 thousand 510.4 soums (1 million 249 thousand 117.44 cubic meters).

Today, this amount of natural gas constitutes the monthly consumption of more than 6,000 households. The formalized documents were submitted to the law enforcement agencies in accordance with the established procedure.
