The two-lane system (green and red) in the departure direction of Uzbekistan's international airports has been terminated, the Customs Committee reported.

In accordance with the presidential decree "On additional measures to further improve the customs administration" dated April 27, 2022, the system of "remote customs control" (through visual monitoring in specially designated places) was introduced in departures of international airports.

Remote customs control is a system that provides customs control and clearance of passengers flying through international airports based on the principle of selection using a risk management system and remote visual monitoring.

In the departures of international airports, a separate customs clearance point will be established, which does not affect the movement of passengers, to issue customs declarations of individuals and provide them with explanations on customs legislation.

The place of customs clearance is designated by a special graphic symbol with the inscriptions "Bojxona" in the national language, "Таможня" and "Customs" in Russian and English.

The requirements for the remote customs control system at departure halls of international airports of Uzbekistan have been determined.
