About 530 thousand live births registered in Uzbekistan over seven months

According to the Statistics Agency, 11,650 of the newborns were twins.

The agency provided interesting information on the age of the babies’ parents:

Mothers

- under the age of 25 – 197,661 women

- 25-39 years old – 326,129 women

- aged 40 and older – 6,156 women
  
 Fathers

- under the age of 25 – 52,593 men

- 25-39 years old – 442,055 men

- 40 years and older – 35,298 men
