Uzbekistan, Russia to increase number of mutual flights
The frequency of flights from St. Petersburg and Krasnoyarsk to Tashkent will be doubled, and flights between the capitals will be increased to 50 per week.
Uzbekistan and Russia agreed to increase the number of mutual regular flights between the cities of the two countries.
In accordance with the agreement, it is proposed to increase the frequency of the following flights:
• Moscow – Urgench – from 7 to 14 flights per week;
• Moscow – Bukhara – from 10 to 14 flights per week;
• Moscow – Tashkent – from 39 to 50 flights per week;
• St. Petersburg – Tashkent – from 7 to 14 flights per week;
• Krasnoyarsk – Tashkent – from 7 to 14 flights per week.
As the Russian side notes, such an increase in the number of flights will have a positive impact on the development of cooperation and will help meet the demand of air passengers for flights between the two countries.
