Uzbekistan, US discussing prospects for launching regular flights between Tashkent and Miami

According to the ministry, during the meeting, the parties discussed the issues related to the development of cooperation in the field of civil aviation. In particular, the prospect of launching regular flights between the airports of Tashkent and Miami was considered.
Miami Airport received more than 50 million passengers in 2022 and was one of the first in the United States after the COVID-19 pandemic to achieve growth, in particular, it came out on top in cargo transportation. Currently, the airport serves 56 passenger airlines and 43 cargo aircraft on 166 routes. Of these, international and direct flights are operated to 104 destinations.
The parties noted that in the field of civil aviation, all conditions have been created to take cooperation to a new level, and the effective use of opportunities is beneficial for both parties. Within the framework of the areas of collaboration discussed at the meeting, tasks for further implementation were identified.
