Uzbekistan ranks 22 in terms of mobile data affordability

Uzbekistan globally ranked 22nd in terms of mobile internet prices, the Cable portal reported.
Mobile Internet users in Uzbekistan pay an average of $0.30 for 1 gigabyte. According to this indicator, the country occupied the 2nd place in Central Asia (22nd place in the world).
Kyrgyzstan is in first place with $0.17, followed by Kazakhstan ($0.41), Afghanistan ($1.02), Tajikistan ($1.65) and Turkmenistan ($11.42).
The cheapest mobile internet in the world is in Israel – $0.02.
In 2022, Uzbekistan ranked 155th in terms of wired internet speed. In 2023, the results changed and rose to 131st place.
It should be noted that there was an increase of 24 points compared to the rating a year ago. Wired internet speed in Uzbekistan is allegedly 21.67 Mbit/s.
