More than 716 thousand births registered in Uzbekistan over 9 months
In January-September, boys were born more than girls.
According to the preliminary data of the Statistics Agency, 716,885 cases of live births were registered in Uzbekistan by the registry office in January-September 2023.
This indicator has increased by 5.1% compared to the same period last year.
371,597 of those born in the 9th month of 2023 are boys and 345,288 are girls.
