Among the country's regions, Samarkand recorded the highest number of births with 46,436, followed by Fergana with 41,773 and Kashkadarya with 41,261.
Surkhandarya region registered 35,461 births, while Andijan region and Namangan region recorded 32,949 and 31,441 births, respectively.
Tashkent region reported 29,024 live births during the reporting period, while Tashkent city registered 27,446.
The remaining regions recorded the following figures: Bukhara region – 17,535 births, Khorezm region – 17,112, Jizzakh region – 16,949, the Republic of Karakalpakstan – 15,894, Navoi region – 10,724, and Syrdarya region – 9,384.
