Uzbekistan’s new ambassador to Germany hands over copies of his credentials to President Steinmeier
The newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Germany Dilshod Akhatov presented his credentials to Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
During the conversation that followed the presentation ceremony, the current state of bilateral relations and prospects for the further development of multifaceted cooperation were discussed.
Frank-Walter Steinmeier noted the high level of bilateral relations achieved in recent years, characterized by special dynamism and coverage of a wide range of areas of partnership, as well as Germany’s interest in further deepening interaction with Uzbekistan.
The German leader conveyed sincere wishes for success and prosperity to the leadership and people of Uzbekistan.
Following the meeting at the residence of the Federal President of Germany, the flag of Uzbekistan was raised with military honors.
