OTS leaders sign several documents aimed at strengthening cooperation
On November 3, the 10th summit of the Organization of Turkic States was held in Astana.
The event was attended by the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, the President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban, the Secretary General of the OTS Kubanychbek Omuraliev.
At the summit, the leaders of the member countries signed the following documents:
• Astana Act;
• Declaration of the 10th Summit of the Organization of Turkic States;
• The decision of the heads of state to award the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev with the Supreme Order of the Turkic World;
• Decision of the heads of state to award the status of Financial Centers of the Turkic World;
• Decision on the adoption of new flags of Turkic cooperation organizations;
• Decision of heads of state on appointments;
• Decision to grant observer status to the Economic Cooperation Organization in the Organization of Turkic States;
• Decision to approve February 6 as the Day of Remembrance of the Disaster Victims and Solidarity;
• Decision on the Rules for Budget Management of the OTS Secretariat;
• Decision on the development of “Regulations on Permanent Representatives of the Organization of Turkic States”;
• Protocol on cooperation between relevant institutions of member states of the OTS in the field of metrology;
• Joint Action Plan (Road Map) of the organization for the implementation of the Transport Communications Program for 2023-2027.
