Jazeera Airways will begin operating flights from Kuwait to Fergana in December, the press service of the Fergana regional administration reports.

Flights on the route “Kuwait – Fergana – Kuwait” will be carried out three times a week on medium-haul Airbus A320neo aircraft with a configuration of 168 seats. In the coming months, flights will be made daily.

Jazeera Airways also plans to launch flights from Fergana to Egypt, Turkey and European countries.

The airline notes the potential of Fergana International Airport to become a transit transport hub between Europe and Asia.

Fergana has become the fourth Uzbek city where Jazeera Airways operates flights. In July 2021, the airline launched regular flights between Kuwait and Tashkent, from October 2022, it also began flying to Namangan, and from March this year, it launched a direct flight to Samarkand.
