More than 27 thousand passengers use railway transport every day – Statistics Agency
According to the preliminary data of the Statistics Agency, in January-September 2023, around 7.4 million passengers used railway services in Uzbekistan.
The volume of passenger transportation increased by 751.4 thousand compared to the corresponding period of 2022, the agency said.
Over the past nine months, an average of 27,200 passengers used railway transport every day.
This indicator is up by 2.8 thousand in comparison with the same period last year.
