PGO: A teenage schoolboy died due to electric shock at school
The preliminary conclusion of the forensic medical examination indicated that the cause of death of the 8th grade student was electric shock. The preschool and school education department of Tashkent city previously issued a statement stating that the student did not die due to electric shock, and the presence of electric energy transmitters in the school stadium and around it was not determined.
The conclusions of the preliminary examination regarding the death of the 8th grade student of the 99th school in the Mirzo Ulugbek district of Tashkent city have been released.
According to the information provided to Kun.uz, the death of a 15-year-old schoolboy was caused by electric shock, poisoning from an electric current arc, acute respiratory failure, brain and lung swelling, electric shock on the palm of the left hand.
Currently, the district prosecutor’s office has launched an investigation into the case, “in accordance with the result, a legal decision will be made”, the report reads.
It should be recalled that the news about this incident was spread on November 28, and it was said that the situation happened a day before at approximately 18:15.
Later, representatives of the preschool and school education department issued an official response and noted that the child’s condition worsened when he was leaving the playground of the institution, he fainted, he was taken to the Republican Specialized Cardiology Center, where he died without regaining consciousness.
In addition, the department noted that the student was not electrocuted and that no power lines were cut in the area and there were no power transmitters around the school stadium. However, these sentences have now been removed from the report and edited.
