Actress injured in Ozoda Nursaidova’s music video accident to undergo surgery in Türkiye

She also mentioned that due to a delay in receiving first aid, she lost a significant amount of blood. She was later taken to Hospital No. 4, where doctors performed a nine-hour-long surgery to save her life. However, due to surgical errors, her left leg is now seven centimeters longer than her right leg, leaving her disabled.

"They didn’t tell me about this right away. I only found out three months later. During this time, my bones healed incorrectly, and now my left leg is 7 cm longer than my right. To fix this, they will have to break my pelvis again and realign it. Doctors say such cases occur in only 0.5–1% of accidents like mine. In most cases, people don’t survive such injuries, but I did," she explained.

The other side of the story

After news about Jabborova spread, Ozoda Nursaidova’s manager, Dilmurod Sattorov, and video operator, Shuhrat Mavlonov, shared their perspective in an Instagram video (which has since been removed). Sattorov expressed dissatisfaction with the accusations against Nursaidova and her team, claiming that proper medical assistance was provided immediately.

"There are many rumors about the incident on Ozoda Nursaidova’s music video set. Some people had other motives — they tried to get us to buy a house or do something else. Ozoda was not present at the shoot; she only commissioned the music video. We don’t have the right to falsely accuse anyone," said Sattorov.

Mavlonov, the video operator, stated that the accident was unintentional and that Jabborova had been financially supported throughout her recovery.

"The girl who was driving did not do it on purpose. She is now able to walk again. Until recently, we covered her rent and even provided $500 per month for living expenses. Now, demands are being made for a house and a car," said Mavlonov.

In an interview with Gazeta.uz, Sattorov clarified that his team was not directly involved in the production of the Dilbarim music video.

"We hired a director and his crew to film the video. When we heard about the incident, Ozoda and I rushed to the set. Medical professionals were already providing first aid when we arrived. Later, an ambulance transported her to the hospital, and I accompanied her. She was examined for 3–4 hours before undergoing surgery," he said.

Sattorov added that a criminal case was opened on the same day by Tashkent’s Department of Internal Affairs, and an investigation is ongoing.

According to him, some individuals around Jabborova were pushing for the purchase of a new house for her, but Nursaidova refused.

"They discussed buying her a new apartment and even sent me listings on Telegram. But we declined because this is a legal matter — the court will determine who is responsible," he stated.

Ozoda Nursaidova’s statement

Ozoda Nursaidova also addressed the incident in a video statement, expressing regret about what had happened. She confirmed that first aid was provided and that she continues to support Jabborova.

"They say the surgery was botched and that her leg is now shorter. I only heard about this from the media. I was happy when I heard that she was going back to work on set. We also provided financial assistance in March. I have always helped those in need. How can I remain indifferent? No one is celebrating this situation — an investigation is ongoing. We have covered her rent for four months, and now, for a fifth month. We will continue to assist her recovery," she said.

Ahad Qayum’s response

Ahad Qayum, who reportedly brought the minor actress involved in the accident to the set, also commented on the matter. He stated that if the court finds him guilty, he will accept responsibility.

"For four to five months, I stayed by Sabrina’s side. When the issue of a second surgery came up, I asked for a cost estimate because I couldn’t cover it alone. I discussed it with the team. I visited her five to six times a day to help — why is no one mentioning that? The minor actress is also being criticized. The investigation has started. If the court finds me 100% guilty, I will accept it," he stated.

Victim’s mother grateful to doctors

Jabborova’s mother thanked the doctors who performed the initial surgery, acknowledging their efforts in saving her daughter’s life.

"Emergency services took her to Hospital No. 4, where doctors worked hard to save her. The surgery lasted nine hours — the bones were completely shattered. The doctors carefully reassembled them, stopped the bleeding, and saved her life. I am grateful to them. May they be blessed. Special thanks to Dr. Salokhiddin, Dr. Dilshod, and Nurse Lola, who also assisted us at home," she said.
