Due to the cooling of the air temperature in Uzbekistan, the demand for natural gas has increased among the population, which has led to an increase in population consumption and a significant decrease in gas pressure, the Ministry of Energy reported.
According to the ministry, the gas pressure is expected to decrease even in cold weather conditions expected between December 7-16 (0 degrees on December 8, -16 degrees on December 12).
“Considering this case, measures are being taken to limit the working hours of CNG filling stations in order to continuously provide the population with natural gas. According to the plan, methane gas stations will work from 06:00 to 15:00.
This temporary restriction has been introduced in the entire territory of our republic so far in order to provide consumers and social facilities with natural gas.
The ministry apologized to consumers for the inconvenience and called on residents to observe austerity until the situation stabilizes.
