Uzbek citizens evacuated from a bus stuck in cold in Kazakhstan
Passengers remained on the bus for more than three hours.

In Kazakhstan, on December 9, 28 foreigners were evacuated from a bus stuck on the road due to cold weather, Kazinform reports.
The bus was stopped in the Akmola region due to unfavorable weather conditions at the checkpoint of the Astana-Petropavlovsk highway.
26 evacuees were citizens of Tajikistan, 2 were citizens of Uzbekistan. There were two children among the evacuees.

Upon completion of the operation, employees of the Emergency Situations Department of the Akmola region and local executive bodies, the passengers were taken to a heating point in Kokshetau and provided with food and bed linen.
One of the passengers said that the bus stopped for more than 3 hours.
“Because of this weather, problems arose. We stayed there for more than three hours. Emergency services workers brought us here. There is food and bed here,” a female passenger noted.
