According to the National Statistics Committee, production increased by 22.3% compared with the same period last year.

Tashkent accounted for the largest share of pharmaceutical output at UZS 1.8 trillion. It was followed by Syrdarya region with UZS 443.6 billion and Tashkent region with UZS 226.4 billion.

Namangan region recorded UZS 169.1 billion in production, while Samarkand region produced UZS 116.9 billion. Output in Andijan region reached UZS 71.4 billion and Fergana region UZS 53.4 billion.

Pharmaceutical production in Surkhandarya region amounted to UZS 49.3 billion, followed by Kashkadarya region with UZS 15.4 billion and Khorezm region with UZS 12.1 billion.

Bukhara region accounted for UZS 7.8 billion, while the Republic of Karakalpakstan recorded UZS 3.5 billion. Jizzakh and Navoi regions each reported UZS 0.1 billion.
