Number of direct flights from Uzbekistan to UAE to exceed 100 per week
The aviation authorities of the two countries agreed to increase the number of flights and expand their geography.

As part of the international conference ICAN-2023, held in Saudi Arabia, an agreement was signed between the aviation authorities of Uzbekistan and the UAE to expand the geography and increase the frequency of flights, the Ministry of Transport reports.
According to the document, flights will be operated from all cities of Uzbekistan with an international airport to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ras al-Khaimah and Fujairah. Currently, flights are operated only from Tashkent and Samarkand.
Frequency of flights to the UAE from Uzbekistan:
• to Abu Dhabi from Tashkent, Samarkand, Urgench, Bukhara, Namangan, Fergana, Karshi, Termez and Nukus – 41 flights per week;
• to Dubai from Tashkent, Samarkand, Namangan, Bukhara, Navoi, Fergana and Nukus – 35 flights per week;
• to Sharjah from Tashkent, Namangan, Samarkand, Fergana, Karshi and Termez – 23 flights per week;
• to Ras al-Khaimah from Tashkent and Samarkand – 6 flights per week;
• to Fujairah from Tashkent – 3 flights per week.
The agreement will help to further increase the mutual flow of tourists, boost pilgrimage tourism, expand the geography of flights of newly created airlines in Uzbekistan and increase the volume of services exports.
