Uzbekistan and Qatar to strengthen cooperation in combatting corruption
On December 15, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation of Qatar led by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption Center, Dr. Ali Bin Fetais Al-Marri.

According to the presidential press service, at the meeting, the parties discussed the current state of bilateral relations and prospects for their further development.
The sides considered the progress of preparations for the upcoming important international event in Uzbekistan – the ceremony of presenting the global award “For outstanding achievements in the fight against corruption”, established on the initiative of the Emir of Qatar.
The parties voiced mutual interest in further expansion of practical interaction, exchange of experience and implementation of joint educational programs in the field of combating corruption.
