Senators to consider the law on state budget for 2024
The 48th plenary session of the Senate will be held on December 20. It will discuss the state budget for 2024 and other laws.
The 48th plenary session of the Oliy Majlis Senate will begin its work on December 20, the Senate press service reported.
In the plenary meeting, among others, the laws “On the state budget for 2024”, “On amendments and additions to the law on the state budget for 2023”, “On amendments and additions to certain legal documents in connection with the adoption of the main directions of tax and budget policy for 2024” will be reviewed.
Senators will also consider the laws “On amendments and additions to some legal documents in connection with the adoption of the law on providing legal aid at the expense of the state” and “On amendments and additions to the “Law on state duties” aimed at creating more favorable conditions for citizens when applying to administrative courts”.
In addition, the laws “On amendments and additions to certain legal documents in connection with the adoption of the Law on Insolvency”, “On amendments and additions to certain legal documents in connection with the improvement of the system of providing state services and protecting the rights and legal interests of business entities” and “On amendments to certain legislation aimed at improving conditions for expanding Internet and communication coverage in the territory of the Republic” will be discussed.
As part of the plenary session agenda, the laws on amendments and additions to some legal documents will be discussed.
Senators will also consider the issues such as implementation of the tasks defined in the “roadmaps” for the socio-economic development of the regions of Namangan and Fergana, hearing the report of the Ministry regarding the activities carried out by the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change on the protection of atmospheric air and greening of areas in the prevention of climate change, as well as approval of the decisions of the Senate Council.
