Several gas filling stations in Andijan sold AI-80 gasoline as AI-92 and AI-95

In 7 out of 17 gas stations located in the city of Andijan and the Andijan region, facts of selling AI-80 gasoline as AI-92 and AI-95 were revealed.

According to the regional administration, the governor of the Andijan region and responsible persons are studying the situation and inspecting gas station branches.

A working group has been formed on this issue. Gasoline samples are taken from gas stations in the region to examine the quality of the fuel, the report says.

“The samples were taken by the working group on December 14-15. It was found that the amount of octane in 7 of the 17 samples taken on December 14 did not correspond to the brand being sold. Similar cases were observed at gas stations in the city of Andijan and the Andijan region,” said Sirojiddin Mukhtorov, deputy head of the Andijan regional department of Uzenergoinspeksiya.
