MFA, USAID discuss projects to develop healthcare sector and modernize education system in Uzbekistan
On January 9, Deputy Foreign Minister Muzaffar Madrakhimov held talks with the director of the USAID mission to Uzbekistan, David Hoffman.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at the meeting, the parties conducted a detailed review of Uzbekistan’s interaction with USAID and exchanged views on priority areas for further deepening multifaceted cooperation.
The sides discussed proposals for the implementation of joint projects and programs aimed at developing the healthcare sector and modernizing the education system in Uzbekistan.
“The issues of ensuring sustainable economic development, strengthening energy security and expanding international trade were also considered,” the MFA said.
