Citizen died onboard a plane flying from Tashkent to Istanbul
On January 11, a citizen died on Uzbekistan Airways flight HY271 on the Tashkent-Istanbul route, the press service of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Turkey reports.

According to the studied information, the citizen of Uzbekistan (born in 1946), Kh.T., was on his way to Istanbul to recover from an ongoing chronic illness. However, during the flight, the patient’s health deteriorated and he suffered a heart attack.
Accompanied by the crew and passengers, first aid was provided to him, and after cardiac arrest, CPR was performed by people with medical skills.
However, despite the treatment efforts, it was not possible to save the citizen’s life. The plane had to land in Ankara.
The embassy provided consular and legal assistance to the deceased and ensured that his body would be sent to Uzbekistan on January 12.
