BYD gifts Shavkat Mirziyoyev YANGWANG U8 SUV

Mirziyoyev, together with the president of the company, Wang Chuanfu, took part in the launch ceremony of a project for the assembly of hybrid and electric cars in the Jizzakh region with a capacity of 50 thousand units per year.

Following the event, the president pointed out the need to expand in the near future the model range taking into account market demand and increase production capacity to 300 thousand per year.

The company’s plans to establish the assembly of BYD electric buses in Uzbekistan with the localization of spare parts and the creation of engineering and service centers were also supported.

The Chinese leading EV maker gifted Shavkat Mirziyoyev a YANGWANG U8 SUV as a sign of the delivery of BYD’s 10,000th car to Uzbekistan.
