Road accident claims lives of 8 Uzbek citizens in Aktobe region

A fatal accident occurred on April 3 on the Samara-Shymkent highway near the village of Marzhanbulak involving a Volvo truck and a Toyota-Alhpard minivan, driven by a citizen of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

As a result of the accident, the driver of the minivan and 7 of his passengers, citizens of Uzbekistan, died at the scene.

According to preliminary data, the truck's tire burst while moving, the driver lost control and jumped into opposite lane, where the collision occurred.

A pre-trial investigation has been launched into the traffic accident. Appropriate examinations have been appointed.
