Husband in custody for investigation of ‘contributing’ to wife's suicide in Bekabad

It was previously reported that a 28-year-old woman in Bekabad, who was regularly beaten by her husband, died after falling from the fifth floor.

"Currently, an investigation is being conducted under Article 103 of the Criminal Code (Driving to Suicide). The husband of the deceased woman has been detained in accordance with procedural rules," the statement said.
