Border officials detained a man who tried to smuggle 3 million Russian rubles in a juice box
An investigation is underway concerning a passenger accused of attempting to illegally export foreign currency.
Officers at the "Farhod" border customs checkpoint, in collaboration with members of the Bekabad city police's anti-smuggling department, thwarted a significant illegal foreign currency export attempt.
Upon inspecting a passenger's bag arriving at the "Farhod" border customs post to cross the border with a neighboring state, a juice box was discovered. Hidden inside was 3 million Russian rubles that were not declared in the passenger's customs declaration.

An investigation into the incident is currently ongoing.
It should be reminded that according to current legislation, individuals are allowed to export an amount not exceeding 100 million UZS from Uzbekistan without restrictions, provided that customs control rules are observed.
