Presidents of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan awarded high honorary titles to cultural and artistic figures of two countries

As part of the program of the state visit of the leader of our country to Tajikistan, an award ceremony took place.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Emomali Rahmon, for their fruitful activities in preserving and popularizing the common historical heritage, spiritual values and traditions, as well as their worthy contribution to strengthening the bonds of friendship between our fraternal peoples, awarded honorary titles to a group of cultural and artistic figures of the two countries.

The honorary title “People’s Artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was awarded to the rector of the National Conservatory of Tajikistan Mirali Dustizoda, associate professor of the National Conservatory of Tajikistan Ismail Nazriyev; head of the ensemble “Shashmakom” named after F. Shakhobov of the Committee of Television and Radio under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Furkat Saidzoda, head of the ensemble of shashmakom performers of the Bobojon-Gafurov district Tulkin Tojiboyev; artistic director of the ensemble “Falak” at the Tajik State Philharmonic named after A. Jurayev Rakhmatullo Khoshimov.

In turn, the honorary title “People’s Hafiz of Tajikistan” was awarded to the professor of the department of “Makoma Singing” of the Uzbek National Institute of Musical Art named after Y. Rajabi Munojatkhon Yulchiyeva, the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ozodbek Nazarbekov; to the artistic director of the song and dance ensemble “Lazgi” of the State Philharmonic of Uzbekistan Ogabak Sobirov, singer Yulduz Usmonova, as well as the honorary title “People’s Artist of Tajikistan” to the director of the Uzbek National Academic Drama Theater Yodgor Sadiyev.

The heads of state solemnly presented badges of honorary titles to their holders.
