State visit of Uzbekistan’s President to Tajikistan became a new historical milestone in bilateral relations
The program of events for the state visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Tajikistan ended yesterday.

According to the press service of the head of our state, the day before the leader of Uzbekistan held negotiations with President Emomali Rahmon in a narrow and expanded format. As a result, the heads of state signed the Treaty on Allied Relations, which marked a new historical milestone in bilateral relations.
An award ceremony took place for a group of cultural and artistic figures from the two countries, who were awarded high honorary titles by presidential decrees. The leaders watched the joint concert “Evening of Friendship” together.
Today Shavkat Mirziyoyev held meetings with the Chairman of the Lower House of the Parliament of Tajikistan Mahamadtoir Zokirzoda and Prime Minister Kokhir Rasulzoda.
The heads of state solemnly opened the new building of the Embassy of our country in Dushanbe, and also got acquainted with the exhibition of industrial goods of Uzbekistan.
At the Dushanbe international airport, the head of our state was seen off by President Emomali Rahmon.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev returned to Tashkent.
