Cyprus appoints new ambassador to Uzbekistan

On April 24, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Cyprus to Uzbekistan, Kypros Giorgallis.
During the meeting, Saidov received copies of the ambassador's credentials and discussed with him the current issues of further cooperation.
"Regular contacts between the foreign ministries of Uzbekistan and Cyprus give a new impetus to our growing ties, especially in the economic dimension," noted Bakhtiyor Saidov.
