Average monthly salary in Tashkent exceeds 8 million soums

According to information from the Statistics Agency under the President, for January-March 2024, the highest average monthly nominal wages were recorded in the city of Tashkent (8.1 million soums), Navoi (6.5 million soums), Tashkent (4.8 million soums), Andijan regions (4.4 million soums) and the Republic of Karakalpakstan (4 million soums).

The lowest wages were recorded in Samarkand (3.7 million soums), Kashkadarya (3.6 million soums) and Surkhandarya regions (3.5 million soums).

The average monthly salary in the country for the specified period amounted to 4.9 million soums.
