Delegation of Fergana region holds fruitful negotiations in Kuwait

The delegation of Fergana region, headed by the governor Khayrullo Bozorov, who was on a visit to Kuwait, met with representatives of the Kuwaiti media and the commercial real estate company AL-TIJARIA of the Marafie Group holding.

The meeting took place at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Kuwait with the participation of Ambassador Ayubkhon Yunusov.

The Marafie Group holding, founded in 1919, is engaged in trade, manufacturing, design, real estate, contracting, construction, hotel business, electronics and electromechanics, elevators, power systems, security and other areas of business. It has 30 structures and operational units, employing more than 1,500 specialists.

In 2002, Marafie Group was included in the Guinness Book of Records for the construction of the world’s largest exhibition building, known as Al Hashemi II. Also, the American trade and economic magazine Forbes named it one of the best private Arab companies.

AL-TIJARIA Commercial Real Estate Company, in turn, founded in 1968, is one of the largest real estate companies in Kuwait in terms of paid-up capital. The company specializes in commercial real estate investments in Kuwait, Arab countries and abroad.

Representatives of the company AL-TIJARIA – The Commercial Real Estate Co. reported that they are ready to invest in projects implemented in various areas in our country, in particular the project of creating a plantation for growing apples, creating a plant for the production of natural apple juice, as well as establishing the export of finished products to foreign countries, in particular to Kuwait, was noted.

Representatives of the electronic publication “Q8Press”, the newspaper “Al-Ray” and the newspaper “Times Kuwait” who were present at the meeting received answers to their questions, relating to the trade, economic and investment environment in the Fergana region.

Upon completion of the discussion on expanding trade-economic and investment cooperation, Kuwaiti entrepreneurs were invited to visit the Fergana region.
