Uzbekistan Airways to launch regular direct flights from Samarkand to Nizhny Novgorod

The national air carrier, Uzbekistan Airways, is launching direct flights from Samarkand to Nizhny Novgorod.

Flights on the Samarkand-Nizhny Novgorod-Samarkand route will be carried out on mid-range Airbus A320 aircraft once a week, on Thursdays. The inaugural flight is scheduled for May 9.

Flight schedule (local time):

Departure from Samarkand — 9:20, arrival in Nizhny Novgorod — 11:30;
Departure from Nizhny Novgorod — 12:30, arrival in Samarkand — 18:00.

As of the time of publication, the cost of a one-way ticket without baggage starts from 2.2 million UZS ($174.5 at the Central Bank's rate).
