Moldova appoints a new ambassador to Uzbekistan
Yesterday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received the new Ambassador of Moldova Valeriu Chiveri.
“Today the Ministry of Foreign Affairs held a meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador of Moldova to Uzbekistan Valeriu Chiveri and accepted his credentials. During the meeting, we reviewed the dynamics of the development of Uzbek-Moldavian bilateral relations in recent years and outlined promising areas for further cooperation. We wish Mr. Ambassador success during his diplomatic mission in our country,” the MFA head wrote on his Telegram channel.
It should be recalled that Uzbekistan and Moldova established diplomatic relations almost 30 years ago – on August 23, 1994.
