Iran’s President and Foreign Minister die as a result of helicopter crash
Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian were killed in a helicopter crash on Sunday, Mehr reported.

The helicopter carrying President Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian crashed on Sunday in a dense forest in the mountains of East Azerbaijan province, Mehr Agency reports.
The helicopter’s passengers, including Ebrahim Raisi, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the governor of Iran’s East Azerbaijan province Malek Rahmati and Ayatollah Mohammed Ali Ale-Hashem, the representative of the leader of the Islamic Revolution in the East Azerbaijan province, along with several other people died in the crash.
